WIDOW CARE
In South Asia, a widow is seen as cursed.
They are often shunned from community and at times even discarded by their family. Abandonment or poverty accompanies most of them who are unable to take care of themselves.
Compelled provides basic food and clothes to widows, to let them live a life of dignity and self worth. In many cases, where possible, they are also empowered to engage in economic activity.
Our genuine care also opens doors for us to share the message of Christ’s love – His love that redeems us from our past.
